Personal Coaching
If a lack of energy, chronic condition and/or frustration with dieting is holding you back from living your life to the fullest, then you are in the right place. Food choices impact the way our bodies function, which in turn, affects every part of our lives.
My coaching style is client-based, as I adjust to meet your specific, individual needs. This may be different from other programs you’ve heard of or personally tried, because of it being personalized to you as an individual — your lifestyle, your schedule, your passions and your goals. In turn, this means far greater effectiveness than a “cookie-cutter” program with a “one-size-fits-all” approach. I tailor my teachings and work with your lifestyle needs so that you can make real changes that will last a lifetime.I will give you a fresh, new outlook on nutrition and teach you how to eat so that your body can function as it was designed to. My practice is based on evidence-based nutrition. Using the science, I will teach you how real food can benefit your mind and body, and what this means at meals and snacks. I have clinical nutrition experience in many different areas, so nutrition coaching is customized to meet an array health and fitness goals, including specific health conditions. During your first session, a full assessment of your health and medical history, current eating habits/preferences, overall lifestyle and personal goals will help to identify your individual needs. I will provide you with evidence-based nutrition advice and equip you with the knowledge and tools you need to succeed and reach your goals. Following your appointment, a nutrition assessment form (refrigerator-door approved!) will be sent your way with the recommendations, guidelines, structured meal suggestions and goals that we discussed at your session. Follow-up visits are focused on accountability, assessment of goal-meeting progress, further nutrition education, addressing any challenges or problem areas, answering any food and nutrition questions that may have arised, and helping you to stay motivated and inspired!
You may be uncertain of exactly what type of role a health coach will play in your life. I am here to coach you, teach you, counsel you, encourage you and offer suggestions, tips, accountability, meal/exercise regimens and maybe even shop or exercise with you. As your coach, you can expect me to be understanding, non-judgmental, encouraging, honest, consistent and reliable. I will always try to challenge you in ways that I know and believe you can handle. It’s time to toss any previous discouragement out the window and get ready for a fresh, new approach to nutrition.
